I don’t want this just to be a site about my movies, I also want to keep you guys up to date on the latest music! With that in mind, let me tell you a band that has been simply rocking all of my socks lately. They’re called Linkin Park.

Now, some of you are saying, “Scott, I like rock music!”. Others are saying, “Scott, those people are wrong, I like rap music!”. And others are saying “No one is wrong, you liking rap music doesn’t negate the others liking rock music”. But guys, stop the fighting: Linkin Park is a band that all of you can agree on.

Don’t let the name fool you. Linkin Park is not as happy and peaceful as your typical park. If anything, Linkin Park is a park that has played host to some unsavory goings-on. A park ignored by the very city that built it, left to decay and rot and rust…. a park infested by wolves and bees…. a park that has just gotten dumped by its girlfriend, a female park, who it committed five years to, and for what? To be left at sea like a park without a port?

Let me ask you this: have you ever been so upset that you felt as if you were close to a ledge, or an edge? So close that in addition to the obvious danger of falling, that you were likely to break as well? Linkin Park has a song for you. It’s called “One Step Closer”, and it’s from their “Hybrid Theory” album. The titular theory of this album is as fascinating as it sounds. You wouldn’t believe the threat that hybrids pose, but fear not…

*SPOILER ALERT*

Though the album title doesn’t hint at it, Linkin Park also has a hybrid solution, revealed at the end of the album. Once you hear it, it will seem so fool-proof that you’ll wonder why they even brought up the theory in the first place.

So if you’re in the mood some music that will make you think while you tap your toes, Linkin Park is the band for you! Keep an eye out for more music tips!
